Privet!
Hi everyone! I think it’s the right time to formally introduce myself (if we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet!). My name is Marina (Marishka is a nice way of saying it) and I cook all of your beautiful Russian desserts for you right here on the Gold Coast.
Russian baking background
Back in Russia I just loved baking, so I did a few courses “just for fun” by some of the most highly respected Russian pastry chefs. I couldn’t predict at that point that these skills would form into a passion and would be exactly what was needed when I moved to Australia.
Always learning
This new baking adventure has now become a true passion for me since 2019 and I am so thrilled that I am able to meet new, interesting and exciting people wanting to try my Honey Cakes and other treats everyday. I am truly grateful for all that support I have received and because of this I intend to keep developing my skills. Last year I finished an advanced online baking course and I'm looking forward to starting another one very soon to continue my development of bringing you only the highest quality products.
Where to find me?
Now I'm creating all of my desserts in my home licensed kitchen in West Burleigh, which my husband and I renovated specifically for my growing Honey Cake business. I'm looking forward to my next stage and getting a nice light pastry studio where you would be able to pop in any time to get some desserts!
